Rich, flavorful, authentic modica chocolate!

This chocolate is incredible!

Love this chocolate. On a trip some time ago in Sicily, I bought several chocolate bars to bring home as gifts. I ended up eating all of them on the trip, they were so delicious. Since then I've been trying to find authentic Sicilian chocolate with the same gritty granular texture. This tastes and feels just like Sicilian chocolate!

The first time was great (see below) but when I reordered I got nut bars that I'm allergic to instead of the chocolate-orange that I wanted. The listing says that it can be returned but Amazon won't accept, even though package is unopened. Last time I ever order from themOriginal review:My wife and I are both long-time lovers of dark chocolate and of chocolate-orange, and we both agreed at first bite that this is something far out the ordinary. The purity and intensity of the orange-chocolate flavor together with the pleasantly gritty texture mark it as very special. I hope that the distributors can find a way to market it at a more appealing price point.

I would eat this and share it with other dark chocolate lovers about once a year.

Love this Modica chocolate which taste more like food because it isn’t too sweet. And its favorite is so well balanced with minuscule pistachios mixed into the chocolate. Utterly delicious!

This is the typical Modican chocolate. The chocolate bar was fresh and arrived well-packaged. No issues. It taste great to me. I got the orange and pistachio versions and both are delicious

I expected this to have a rich chocolate flavor with the hint of orange, but instead it is much more like caked granula sugar with chocolate flavoring. It is not possible to eat this straight. Upon careful rereading of the product discription, it is what it is, but I would never give this to someone as a gif. Not knowing the story behind it, someone would think this chocolate had gone bad. The only thing I can think of using this for is breaking it into pieces and adding it into coffee. This is one of those Italian artisan things, like Grappa, you have to have a taste for it, otherwise you should pass.
