Legends of Andor : Dark Heroes (Expansion Pack)

I've only played the physical version of Legends of Andor 4 times. The last mission we played with two of the dark heroes - and I think it was entertaining. My game group - namely my husband and cousin - don't like Legends of Andor as much, so I don't know if I will be able to get them to replay the legends with dark heroes. I would have to say that managing the dark hero is it's own problem in addition to the regular game. The dark heroes aren't as flexible...but they are fun.I played as the bear/human and my cousin as the person I'll just call the golem (who raises an enemy from the dead to be a bone golem.) We played Legend 4, which takes place in the mines. SURPRISE!!!! There are no forests in the mines. So it was actually kind of funny how useless I was, because the bear only turns back to human in a forest (but then, I had an excuse to avoid my husband, the hairy dwarf, being an alpha player and directing me what to do, because I would just say, "I can't, I'm a bear!"). I wish the rulebook was a little more clear...like gave an example, because I didn't realize I would be stuck as a bear (Brave anyone?)So for $7-8, I got my fun, if only to listen to the dwarf grumble about how he has to do everything (win the legend) while me and the golem go and kill things for fun.We won by the way...but someone got left behind in the mines...and it wasn't the bear. Or the golem.
