Works a treat
I was looking for a replacement for the standard heart rate monitor that goes round your chest. This is an ideal alternative. Comfortable to wear, it connects quickly, has a good battery life, and provides accurate readings. The straps are well designed and easily removed for washing. Great product.

Great product and price, exceptional customer service
I've always worn a chest strap, but after some extreme chaffing one day I decided to give optical a go. I chose the CooSpo on the basis of good reviews and because it seemed better value for money than some of the better known devices. The product itself is excellent. Because you wear it higher up your arm (just under the elbow) than wrist-based optical devices it appears to give a more accurate and stable reading - certainly similar to my Wahoo and Garmin chest straps. It paired easily with my Garmin Fenix and iPhone. It's more comfortable than the chest strap, although it does have to be worn fairly tight. The battery is quick to charge and lasts a long time - it held out during a 40 mile run anyway. But there is always a concern that, in the event of a problem, the customer service may not be as strong as the more well-known brands. Not in this case. I stupidly left the charger in Spain, so tried to find a replacement when I got back to the UK. Unable to, I contacted the company. Emma replied within a few hours, and after a slight mix-up (Emma looks after .com, I am .co.uk) she arranged with her colleague to send me a replacement free of charge. It arrived a few days later. Will buy their products again.

Works just fine.
Bought this to use with Android Kinomap app. It seems to work fine with this app. Also reported to work with most other sports apps (eg Zwift) on IOS and Android. Probably not as accurate as chest mounted device, but seems to agree well with manual pulse readings and pulse oximeter. Comes with one black fitted and one spare orange arm band. You wear it just below or just above elbow. Some words of of caution, information from Coospo is that it may not work if you have dark coloured skin - presumably because of the way it operates via an optical reflection, in which case the chest version would be a better option. Also Coospo say it will not work with Strava. Apart from these provisos would recommend.Update: Works with Android "a Training Tracker" which is open source (no ads and free). Use this instead of recording in Strava and then export to Strava at end of workout. You then have Heart rate logged in Strava as well as all the other data.

Very easy to setup on the Peloton exercise bike - Just switch it on and connect!
I needed a reasonably priced heart rate monitor that would work with my Peloton bike.I purchased a second hand 'smart watch' and this was not very user friendly as I had to connect the watch to my phone and the Peloton app on the phone, I was not able to see my heart rate on the Peloton screen whilst riding so it went back! This device connected in seconds to the Peloton bike, I simply switched it on, connected it, strapped it to my forearm and off I went, it couldn't have been easier. It comes with a spare arm strap and a charging cable. I've only used it once so far but I am sure that the battery will last long enough between charges.I thoroughly recommend the heart rate monitor to anyone with a Peloton exercise bike.

Good value, easy to use
Works as advertised. Quicker, easier than a chest strap. Not quite as accurate but works for my purpose of tracking during ski erg and indoor cycling sessions

Loses connection towards the back end of some runs, but accurate when working
This was a nice little monitor, especially for the price, but I noticed that at around the 8KM mark, it would start to drop connection and switch off. This was possibly a battery issue, though if you catch it in time you can usually turn it back on for another 4 or 5KM before it happens again. When it's on, it's good an accurate, as tested against other HR monitors. One major issue I had with it was that it doesn't actually connect to the Nike Running app, despite it saying that it does. All I tried to connect it didn't work, so I assume it's just incompatible. All in all, an okay HR monitor for the price, provided you're not running more than about 6-8KM at a time.

Very Poor device
Spend a few more pounds on a better product as this is frustrating to use. The strap is awful, velcro to strong to undo and strap has almost zero elasticity so awkward to put on. The device has no memory and if you move away from iphone it loses connection unknowingly and if you remember to check to see if lost connection - you need to again find in bluetooth settings to reconnect which isn't as easy as you think. The app software is useless as cant even find the device as seems to just find wireless devices - yet this is using bluetooth? If I pair with my Bike I lose the connection to iphone - so doesnt support multiple devices. The plus is that it is rechargeable - many devices are still using batteries - but it unkown when you will need to recharge as no indicator.
