It will function and perform well for duties. I typically use it for Class A uniform but it still hold up my gear and isnt too uncomfortable. Looks great as well.

Fits well, appearance is nice, quality is great and if you pay attention to having to order it larger you’ll be just fine.

I find this belt to be of very good quality, what I did not expect with the extra thickness on the holster side of the belt. What is not clearly evident in the photos is if you look closely, you will see some stitching in the center of the belt. That is where the extra layer of leather is attached going all the way to the double pronged attachment point (exactly what I was looking for) for the buckle. It took a little extra effort to get the holster in place, but it's not going anywhere and is very sturdy. This belt is not flimsy as some of the more modern belts are. As an officer since the 80's, it hearkens back to the older style, very stiff belts. I find this belt well worth the money I paid for it and recommend it heartily.

Upon retirement, I lost weight. Less sitting in an office or car. My existing belt was too large (38-40) for the few occasions that I wear this belt. This inexpensive belt (34) will work for me quite well. The leather is thinner, but thick enough. I’m not hanging a lot of gear on it. The buckle is lightweight, but again sufficient. If I was to order again, I’d get the 32” version. I mean, it comes with generous adjustment.

Okay I’m submitting this as a bad review because I want people to read it before purchasing. I just got mine in the mail today. This belt is wonderful for its price! I think it’s almost perfect! Leather feels pretty sturdy. Now I wouldn’t say it can take too much of a beating before it starts to get warn down, as for anything leather. My only issue, is the sizing is big! Typically for any duty belts, you want 4” larger than your normal waste size +2” for under belt, +4” for duty belt. I am a waste 30”, so I ordered a 34”, but I have to move the buckle to the last two sets of holes to get it to fit good. The only problem with that is it makes the tail long, which may get in the way with a holster. Since I am still growing and it works, I am going to just settle with this one, and not return it, but I would suggest anyone who is going to purchase this belt, to order your true waste size, or at most 2” larger.(P.S. Buckle in photo is my personal brass one, not what was sent to me. The silver one I received looks perfectly fine, and works great.)

For what you pay, this belt will work, and ok value for the price. There are other belts of better quality and a little more expensive. It would be ok for security work, I don't think it would last for a police officer.

I've worn this belt nearly every day for three months now and have nothing negative to say about it. It holds all my gear while I'm on patrol and the fit was perfect. Make sure and get belt holders to go with it and you'll be set. The buckle adds to your look of authority and others will be jealous. I'm going to buy another one soon, for my father as a Christmas gift. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon.
