Swanson Full Spectrum Catnip 400 Milligrams 60 Capsules

I discovered the benefits of catnip when I bought a plant for my cats. I made tea with it, and found that it worked very well for sleep, kicking in about 2-3 hours after drinking it. For me, it is a strong effect like a sleeping pill, and I can barely keep my eyes open. But too much liquid near bedtime is not great, so I bought these to try instead. At first I thought they weren't working, since I used them on the same schedule. They had no effect 2-3 hours after taking them, but I did sleep through the 3 am period better than usual. I figured they take much longer to kick in than the tea, so I began to move them earlier until I saw the effect. It was very delayed! I'm currently taking two in the early evening, and one around 10 pm. They don't work as dramatically as fresh tea, but are reliable for me, with no ill effects in the morning. Catnip also works very well for stomach problems like gas, but I have not found the capsules useful for this. Even a liquid extract hasn't helped much. Fresh tea works great.

Read that catnip "pills" help with relaxation and it's working for my husband. He'd been taking diphenhydramine (through Tylenol PM) and wasn't happy with it. This is working out, and as long as it does, we'll be buying these for him.

My cats have always enjoyed catnip but I never thought I would. It helps me a lot with digestive issues that I tend to get at night and also helps me to get a better night of sleep. I had no side effects.

I've had insomnia for over 12 years. My doctor first prescribed ambien, then belsomra, neither of which helped at all. A nurse that I work with suggested catnip. I thought, it's worth a try, especially for $6. I honestly didn't think it would work, but have been pleasantly surprised. I use to have to watch TV to fall asleep, to take my mind off of things and relax. Now I take 2 capsules about 3 hours before bedtime, and I can easily fall asleep within minutes of laying down. Bought this to help relax me before bed. Although I had no adverse effects, I also didn’t experience the intended effect either. Everyone reacts differently.. and at least it was cheap
