Techkey, can you please provide a download link for the drivers as i don't have access to a dvd drive? thanks.

Yes - there is a URL. I used it today. It is on the TechKey web site (do Google search for techkey drivers and it is the first link). You have to scroll down on the TechKey page to get to the right item (Item 4. Bluetooth 5.0 Dongle).If you click on that link, it will take you to dropbox. I was a bit fearful of that, but it does work. There is a download arrow icon near the top right of that dropbox page. After you download it, go to your Downloads folder, and open it up. There is an install guide that helps, but it's very easy without the guide. You click on the setup file within the downloaded set of files and it will successfully install. Note that it will tell you initially that the driver is unsecured/unpublished, and while that seems scary, if you continue, it does install an actual Realtek driver via the typical InstallShield wizard. Once it's finished, you will then have a Realtek 5.0 adapter show up under Bluetooth in Device Manager. If you don't install the driver, then you will only see a Generic adapter under Bluetooth in Device Manager (and a few other Microsoft related entries). The bluetooth adapter won't pair without that Realtek 5.0 adapter showing up in Device Manager under Bluetooth (at least it wouldn't pair for me on a Windows 10 laptop and desktop). As I have said, it seems sketchy to be downloading from dropbox, but it totally worked for me after hours of me trying to figure out why I couldn't pair my headset (without the driver)

When I first plugged it in Windows didn't recognize it as a wifi device. The computer did see it as a storage device. I opened the device and there were two folders, one MAC and one PC. I opened the PC filed and it installed and now the computer sees it as a wifi adapter

Question 4

Can 2 people (using separate sets of headphones) simultaneously (listen to music)receive a signal from this adapter? 5.0 standard should support this.

Hjalmer - the application (EG your music player) wouldn't even know. The application usually doesn't even know if you're using bluetooth for audio or wired headphones. Pairing is handled by the bluetooth stack in the OS, so it's really a question of whether Windows 10, OSX Catalina, etc support this functionality of Bluetooth 5.0.
