LISTEN TO ME, IT WORKS!
I do not TYPICALLY write reviews, but I swore with everything I have that if I found something that worked for me, I would definitely share the information. I know that millions on women are suffering with BV, the embarrassment of having it, constantly thinking about it, and even going through bouts of depression because NOTHING is fixing the problem. I've dealt with BV for over 3 years, and when I tell you I've tried flagyl (which was just awful on my body, just to have the BV return), to all kinds of home remedies, that gave some relief, but didn't resolve my Problem. Now, I'm fully aware that every women's body is different, and what works for one, may not work for all. For example, no matter how good a product is, I cannot insert a capsule, or anything in my vagina...I found that it made matters worse. I could only take oral capsules, and hoped for the best. This is what I believe...if you've had BV for years, the BAD BACTERIA has taken over, and made your vagina a nest egg for bad bacteria to grow. That BAD BACTERIA is very STUBBORN, and it does not easily respond to treatment. In order to fight the BAD BACTERIA, you need a HEFTY DOSE OF GOOD BACTERIA (it's like a war going on down there). I've tried various dosages of CFU's. NOTHING touched me until I found the correct dosage that my body would respond to, and that's the 50 billion flora (not the 4, 15, 20...my body responded to 50 Billion). I believe the aggressive dosage of 50 billion is needed, because BV is just as aggressive, THAT'S WHY IT KEEPS COMING BACK. HERE'S MY TESTIMONY: After suffering from BV for over 3 years, I decided to try the 50 billion Ultimate flora, and YES IT WORKED FOR ME. I no longer have odor, discharge, or burning. I have a perfectly PH balanced vagina. I currently take 1 capsule in the morning (orally), and one at night. My intentions are to cut back to only one capsule eventually. I promised MYSELF that I would write a testimonial and not keep this to myself. My heart sympathizes with other women going through BV (I know, it is like a curse). I promise, I'll share this information with my GYN Doc, because for some reason, they don't seem to know about this??? which is weird. Not once, did my Doctor suggest probiotics, He only prescribed Flagyl. Look ladies, this is your life, your body...fight for it! there is hope, there is real relief, don't give up. I am one thankful woman, I thank the makers of this product, I thank other women for their testimonials, and I thank God for hearing my prayers and helping me find something that works for me! I wish you all the best on your journey to become balanced...you will get there! just find the right amount of CFU's and you would have cracked the code. I've also decreased eating sugar, increased my protein, and incorporated drinking 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar mixed in 8oz of water. All I can HONESTLY say, is that it's working. Please note, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY FREE GIFTS OR ANYTHING FOR MY TESTIMONIAL. I am leaving this testimonial from the depth of my heart because I feel that I need to share this with other women who may be struggling with BV. Health, blessings, and balance to ALL!!

Heroic recovery from antibiotics
I'm a 36yr old woman, my profession is in emergency healthcare, and I've reached the point in my life where I am highly suspicious and critically review all things health. While there is some proven value in the placebo effect, I seek out legitimate and evidence-based effectiveness. When a doctor tells me I need antibiotics, my first reaction is to argue and require a science-based explanation of why they want to prescribe me them. In my experience, you ask 10 different doctors their opinion and recommendations and you're going to receive 8-9 different answers. This is not reassuring. Don't believe me... ask 10 doctors how they feel about Flu vaccinations. That seems to be a good one to get physicians on a vent, either pro or anti-flu vaccinations. Recently I went to my doctor for one problem, she diagnosed me with a different problem to which I was asymptomatic (both Bacterial and Yeast Vaginal Infection). She assured me that she saw both microbes under the microscope. I was very tempted to ask her to show me...but didn't want to appear like a lunatic. I took oral Flagyl antibiotics for 7 days, while also using vaginal night cream Clomitrazole for 7 days. Flagy is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and a strong enough one to really destroy my body. Knowing this, I took 150mg Diflucan about day 4 of 7 just to help make sure I didn't have any problems. 2 days after finishing the medications I found myself with a raging vaginal yeast infection (a problem I did not previously have symptoms for), a tongue with thick/white coating (yeast oral thrush, which I've never had in my life), and two teeth that started hurting (that may or may not have been a coincidence)....and I still had the original problem that I went to the doctor for. I took my last stash of Diflucan and waited another couple of days before calling the doctor. The doctor wanted to refer me to a dermatologist. I said I felt like I was being passed around, which happens a lot in healthcare, and I was not interested. I requested a Diflucan refill and then did the dirty deed of turning to Google for help. I recently finished a chemistry and microbiology class and am currently in an advanced Pathophysiology and Anatomy & Physiology class...so I tried to apply my expensively-acquired knowledge to good use. There is still a lot of contradicting information out there about probiotics but when you're female, got an issue, and desperate....I'm willing to spend some money to experiment. I bought these probiotics, ate yogurt, drank lots of water, exercised, and would take 2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in 8oz of water at least once or twice a day. I also cut back on coffee (1 cup per day, which is torture for me). I bought new toothbrushes and would dunk them in white distilled vinegar after each use until my oral yeast was cleared up. I did the "spit test" (spit in a glass of water when you first wake up and wait 15 minutes to see if the yeast creates danglies) a few times until it appeared my mouth was back to normal. I also used leftover Clomitrazole cream in the tube and applied a small amount on the exterior of my vaginal area for about 4 days. It took almost 2 weeks but I am finally back to normal. I'm convinced that synergy is important and these probiotics were not some magical cure...but they did help with all the other things I was doing to try to restore my flora and fight off the yeast infections. My advice to all people, especially women: Educate yourself. Know your body. Our bodies are impressive machines and sometimes the right solution is not always the quickest or easiest.

Ok
I bought two of these. I used to use a different brand, but after a while, I decided to try another one since my previous brand didn’t have a high number of strains. So far, I haven’t noticed much difference, but I’m still in the first month.

So far works for me
In the last recent years I’ve noticed that my odor down there has changed and it really bothered me. I would often express this to my doctor and they would check me for any imbalances or overgrowth in yeast or bacteria. Results were always negative and they never followed up with me on different options to help me. I recently went to a knew OBGYN and told her the same thing and she checked me for any infections and also mentioned these pills. I just finished my first months pack and I’ve noticed a difference, especially after a workout. I actually smell I guess “good” or I should say normal. In addition to this at the end of my period I noticed there was no bad odor! This could be due to my new birth control, not sure but I am so far pleased with the product. I will write a review in the future if my opinion changes. But so far I like them.
