Q: Since I can't hear it and my dog is ignoring it, how do I know if it's working?

The dog should have some sort of reaction to the squeaker. The best way to test it to make sure it's functioning properly is to squeeze it when your dog isn't paying attention. Your pet's ears should perk or it should have some sort of reaction to the toy. If your dog has no reaction, the squeaker may be defective and you should be able to return/exchange the toy. Q: Where is this toy made?

Not sure but I watched the fog destroy this toy in 15min.

Q: Made in China to child safety standards-what does that really mean? Dogs would have this in their mouth all the time.

All of our products are safe and non-toxic and made to child safety standards as there are no standards for pet toys. All of our products are tested for toxins, BPA and phthalates. The toys meet strict requirements and safety standards that are required for toys for infants and toddlers (the strictest of US standards). Also, most of our toys are tested to European toy standards which have even more strict requirements than the US. The dyes that are used are standard fabric dyes, same as clothing, blankets, etc. The fabrics are standard polyester that come from same fabric mills that make clothing. We do "crocking" tests to make sure the dyes are permanent to the fabrics and don't rub off. The filling is polyester fiber-fill, same as used in your pillows or kid's toys.
