Q: Is this a genuine "dexter russel" brand which are manufactured in usa or knock off brand the logo looks different from the real dexter russel items i

this is a genuine "dexter russel" brand imported not USA made. BUT LET ME SAY THIS.. this is the best bread slicer that I ever had regardless of brand or price. I have been using this knife every day for months. Buy IT!!

Q: Does this cut very crusty bread?

It's a very sharp knife and I think it would, although I've not tried it for this yet.

Q: What is the size of the blade?

The one I bought has a blade 10 in long and just over 1 in wide

Q: Is this knife dishwasher safe?

This is a wonderful knife for the money. Lightweight and easy to use, much better than my expensive German bread slicing knife. However, I would not put it in the dishwasher. I'm sure it would do fine in the dishwasher, but the blade would become dull and the handle may discolor. I don't put any of my "sharp" knives in the dishwasher for this reason. Those knives should be hand washed. Hope this is helpful!
