Worked great
When the freezer was on the blink I was needing something in a hurry to pack the food with while waiting for the new one.The freezer was losing its temp quickly so these took a while to freeze (like needing scissors to get into scissors I needed a freezer to freeze the packs to keep the food frozen because the freezer was broken lol). They worked great and where still frozen a day later when the food was going into the new freezer.

Great for cooling
Great cooling gels for food use or helping with swelling/injuries. Nice for keeping the drinks cooled when outside in nice hot weather.

Does the job but not very environmental.
I've been using these for around a year now as I have been trying to cut my costs with shipping, I used to use water based ice packs which you could easily cut open, pour the water away and recycle. These are a plastic mesh material full of absorbent gel/plastic grains (which remind me of the water beads you get for children). I really dislike using them as although they are affordable, reusable and rather more practical than water only ice packs they cannot be used forever and then it all goes into landfill.Despite this I will keep using them for the time being as I used to lose whole orders because the water based ice packs would burst in the post - these ones have never burst on me and they keep my parcels cool for 48 hours which is ideal. They take 20 minutes to soak in the bath and then dry off, around 5 hours to freeze fully. Before soaking they take up hardly any space as one sheet is about the size of an a4 sheet and hardly any thicker.

these things rock
I got a bit excited and put several in the freezers and during the hot weather I put some under my pillow and on my bed etc and just loved it. My AC had broken down and I didn't want to buy another one for a few days of a heatwave - my partner suggested gel packs and also these things.. turns out these rock.I used half of a packet, granted I bought the bigger packet, and that was good enough..... I have an experiment which is to let them evaporate over some weeks to slowly dry out and sort of go back to their original flat pack size.. That part worked but it took forever and kinda smelled - however.. next time it's hot I'm going to try and put them in water again and see if they return to their awesomeness. If it doesn't work, I don't really mind since I still have loads of unused sheets available anyway. For me, worth it.

Read the listing not the packaging...
I thought these were rubbish, didn't freeze at all. Took them on holiday in a cool box and kept topping that up with ice that melted, these absorbed the melted water and filled up... And that's when I realised how much of an idiot I was 🤣So yeah, soak in water before freezing for the first time and they're great

Brilliant at keeping cool but don't use them at once if you don't need them
Yes, they are perfect at keeping cool however soak them in water as and when you need them, otherwise you'll end up with oversized sheets weighing a ton, or rather a few kilos. And they do not seem to evaporate much.

Great until they burst
Good idea but they frequently burst getting gel everywhere, make a mess of picnics, shppping etc. Annoyingly missed the 30 return window.
