According to your instructions, turn the can upside down and spray until clear. For cleaning the tube, your instructions read as follows IMPORTANT: To prevent clogging, after each use, invert the can and spray a few short blasts to clear the valve. Spray PRE or solvent through extension nozzle to clean.

I see no reason why it would. You’re not altering the frame but coating it for rust prevention that should have been done in the first place.
