The Snail Recovery Gel should come after your moisturizer, and is meant to seal in moisture to your skin. Snail is mostly used for firming skin, and anti-aging. However, it has not been proven by itself to whiten skin. You'll want to find products containing arbutin, niacinamide, glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice root extract), Vitamin C, Giga White, or tranexamic acid if you are looking for brightening effects.

Q: Does anyone else find this extremely difficult to get out of the tube? I have to put it on my counter and push just to get the smallest amount.

YES! I find it extremely difficult to get out of the tube. It comes out verrry slowly (like a snail, lol) and a little at a time. Think I'll make the hole slightly bigger.
