The ideal bathroom/lavatory extractor.
Easy to install and is quiet and very powerful. Setting up the options for the timer and other preferences is difficult because the switches and labelling are so small that much better than 20/20 vision is essential - or a magnifying glass. The downside is the backdraught shutter which clatters in a high wind to such an extent that I fitted foam rubber to quieten it. This means it leaks cold air into the room in a high wind, but the noise of the shutter would otherwise be intolerable. (All backdraught shutters are like this, so it's not so much a criticism of the fan as of the inability of fan makers to come up with anything better than this.) I have fitted a cowl on the outside of the house and this is a great help. But I must emphasise that this is the best extractor of its size I have ever used, and remarkably quiet.

Air Flow Fan
Great look and is hardly noticeable. Runs quite but still kicks out air at a fast rate. Expensive but we’ll worth it.I’d definitely recommend this product.

Excellent fan, maybe just unlucky that the first one failed.
This is superb. Wanted to replace a noisy 100mm fan during a bathroom refurb. This 120mm unit extracts loads of air, is very quiet, and also looks neat. Has a 2-minute delay, which is good, so doesn't go on every time you make a quick visit. Plus a humidistat, I now have a 2m square wet room without windows, and when when I'm done, I turn off the light, the atmosphere is back to normal within 2-hours, and the room feels dry and airy.Revised my review from 5 to 4 stars, as the fan failed after 18-months of use. Just wouldn't come on, and the room stayed warm and stuffy. Interestingly, the original fan actually got quieter over time, to the point where I sometimes removed the cover plate to check it was still working. It usually was, until it wasn't. Bought a replacement so easy to swap, four screws and 3 push-in wires. Maybe just unlucky with the original and the replacement may last for 20-years?!? Annoying that the replacement (via Electricals247) had all four plastic clips broken on the cover plate. I could use the original cover instead, but a broken product should not have been dispatched. The rattling in the box was a clue!

Hate it
Well I guess it does what it says on the tin... however on the quieter speed (which is why I bought it) the air flow is very poor. I fit the fan with the back-draughts shutter fitted and at 2am I had to get out of bed, torch in hand after turning off electricy, and remove the back-draught fan - every time a gust of wind blew the flaps banged against the fan - not a gentle noise but one that'll keep you awake. Without the back-draught shutter the wind now blows through which might be a problem when it's colder. And finally - the instructions - OMG the writing's so small you need magnifying glass - impossible to follow. And the dip-switches on the fan are so small it took me a while to figure that they even existed. For £90 - to me it feels like a £30 cheap and cheeerful fan. In truth I hate it!And an update. I emailed the company to ask how to change the speed. The instructions are so poor it’s impossible to figure and believe me I tried. Well, 24 hours later no acknowledgement of my email and my guess is I won’t get one.I put a single sheet of toilet paper up against the fan just to see how much suction there is - it barely registered and if I let go of the paper it fell to the floor. The fan is turning and granted it is very quiet - but a quiet fan that doesn’t extract very well and a supplier uninterested in email enquiries. Give this fan a miss. Finally - after 4 weeks and four emails I managed to change the speed of the fan. It's not a switch or anything simple and absolutely nothing in the instructions that arrive explain properly how to do this. It required fine tweezers, dexterity and a hope that you're not breaking anything. My honest opinion - give this fan and this company a miss. Their emails to me to try to explain were as bad as the original instructions.Their instructions could have said (but didn't) "Phil, the pins, or jumpers, that require reconfiguration are buried behind three very tiny and individual black plastic covers. They are hard to see but are located in the top right as per our picture. You'll need a fine pair of tweezers or very small pointed pliers, and gently ease each of the plastic covers off of the hidden pins. Don't worry they feel fragile but they won't break. You then need to replace the plastic covers in the order shown in the included picture. I hope that helps - if not, there's a video here....) - You see... simple communication.

Perfect and effective
I purchased it as a replacement to my old extractor fan in the bathroom, it was the exact same model and lasted for 10 years

Failed after 2 years
Have had this for 2 years now. It stopped working once, then after clearing some dust it worked for a few more months but now refuses to work entirely. Unreliable, unfortunate, given how quiet and efficient it seems to be.
