Q: Why did these 6oz cakes more than double in price?!?!

The prices for the 6oz swing wildly and without seeming logic or reason. I've been following the listed price on Amazon and it continues to swing back and forth between $4.50 and $14.00 every few weeks. I refuse to pay more than $5 per block. If the future is like the past, just wait a week or three if you can and you should see it drop back down. That's been the pattern since Nov. 2019 and now (Mar 2020). Terrible marketing strategy if you ask me.

I order the big one but unless I'm missing something it appears you get one cake for the $12 which is way too much.
