Subcold Ultra 15 Mini Fridge Cooler & Warmer | 3rd Gen | 15L capacity | Compact, Portable and Quiet | AC+DC Power Compatibility (Black) [Energy Class E]

When I first plugged the Ultra 15 in, I was certain that it was broken. But happily I was wrong. It’s just so quiet that it makes no more noise than the pvr sitting close by. It quicky cooled the interior down to about 5 Centigrade, where it has remained ever since. It looks neat sitting under a table in my living room.So far it’s only holding a few soft-drink cans, water and three oranges but come the next day-long F1 schedule, it will be used for what I boight it for. Namely holding my sandwich lunch and any chilled snacks plus cold water and drinks.Since buying the Ultra 15, I have also bought an Ultra 6 to hold cold water for my bedroom. This performs equally well, although it is a tad louder - but not enough that I can’t sleep though it.

Easily fixed though.Slighter water droplets/water spots from condensation from cans. Minor issue.Fan is a touch loud. Could most likely be swapped out for a Noctua Fan for silent operation.Overall 3/5*

No actual temperature control as it works -18C below ambient temperature so its good at the moment in winter, we'll have to see what it's like during the summer. Have not tried the heating mode, not sure if I ever will. It's light-weight, spacious for its size and quiet. I have it in my kitchen so I'm not sure what it is going to be like in the middle of the night in a bedroom - I'm guessing it should be no problemGood overall unit

Unlike a normal fridge, this item keeps temperatures 14 degrees below the ambient temperature of its surroundings. As we bought it to keep a few drinks chilled whilst outside, we have it situated underneath our raised decking so that even on a hot day, the ambient temperature in the shade is never more than 20 degrees and we have drinks at hand at usual fridge temperature. Better than having to walk up and down our rear sloping garden each time we want a refreshing drink.You can also use it to keep things hot at a temperature of about 60 degrees although we have not tried that setting.It is not advised to leave it on continuously, as the 14 degrees below ambient means that it freezes items when outside temperatures are low to begin with. It is quite a light weight mini fridge and comes with a 12v DC supply lead as well as the normal 240v plug. Hence you could plug it in to your car to keep items chilled whilst travelling.With the shelving removed (very easy) it can store a couple of bottles of white wine as well as a few standard sized beer cans. I also like the fact that there are no planet harming CFC's involved.

The product is amazing. It’s in my daughters bedroom and there is more than enough room for cokes and snacks - and flexing to her friends of course. It’s beautifully designed, quiet, I honestly can’t find a bad word to say. Most importantly the customer service is excellent. There was a problem with the switch 5 months in. After a bit of trouble shooting didn’t work the company had the item collected and replaced with a new fridge. Buy with confidence.

This little fridge far exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be noisy and only slightly chill the food....but was I wrong. It is silent and chills the food as well as my fridge at home. I have used it connected to my 12V socket in my car on long journeys....brilliant....and in many hotel rooms....fantastic. It looks attractive, is easy to carry, holds more than you think it will and has never let me down. I got the largest one and glad that I did so. It's not baulky and takes up little room. Get one...you'll be amazed how good it is.

Lasted just over a year then started to sink off burning before then packing in completely, out of warranty as advised by seller who did give some troubleshooting help but ultimately no help.Was good when it worked, no temp control means things often freeze at the back, ice build up occurs. The fan was noisy so no good if your a silent sleeper. Looks really good, nice quality door. Low star rating due to not lasting as long as I'd have expected considering it isn't the cheapest fridge out there.Seems to be a very common issue. Wouldn't advise buying this product.
