My kids are obsessed with these. They are a good size and nice quality!

My son has been using these for quite some time now and my youngest has started playing with them as well. They're great entertainment and an educational toy for them, would definitely recommend to young kids looking to play/learn about animals!

As a preschool teacher (who's also a bit of a perfectionist) in need of animal figures, I deliberated a good long while before choosing this set. A few brands are quite gorgeous but lots of $$, and far too many are, frankly, junk with shoddy paint jobs that rub off in short order. But I couldn't be more satisfied with these sets from Wild Republic. They're nicely textured, giving the pleasing sensory feel and appearance of skin, fur and feathers. A good weight but not too heavy, well painted and a great size - again, neither too big nor small. And they stand really well! I started with the farm set (love!) and expanded with this and the Asian set. Great for block corners and small world play, our children adore them!

I just opened up the package, which came faster than estimated, and I am very pleased with the quality. The detail in the animals is pretty nice, complete with textured fur and wrinkled skin where appropriate. All of the animals in the African Animals set stand up on their own (I can't say that for a couple of other animals in other Wild Republic animal sets), which is what you'd hope for. One thing I would like to point out is that the animals are certainly not to scale with each other. This definitely isn't a deal breaker for me at all, however. Another thing I'd like to point out is that the animals really are made to look like the actual animal they represent, and are in no way cartoon-like. I'm giving it four stars instead of five simply because of the scale issue. All in all, I would buy it again, as well as other Wild Republic animals sets.

i bought some Wild Republic sea creatures for my niece and she loved them. and i was very impressed by the quality and realism of the figures. outstanding product.i thought i'd give it a go with another Wild Republic product and these were an immediate smash hit. she was playing with them within seconds and showing them to me and marching them around.i like that they are good sized (5"-7" as stated), so there is good detail to them. like the sea creatures, these are very good quality, too.strongly recommend for any kid interested in animals.

My grandsons absolutely fav animals. He is 2 and warthog is his obsession so I found these and he was so excited. Nice large and well made animals. In my mind I thought fir the cost they would be small, so I was pleasantly surprised

Most figures are very realistic, and some (e.g., dolphin) make squeak sound. My son loves them. BUT, they emit a strong chemical smell. I compared all the brands available on Amazon and chose Wild Republic because the product description clearly specify they meet some US & EU safety standards. Sure it's good to know they meet "some" standards, and these may be actually safer than some others that don't even bother to mention their safety. But, I can't tell any difference between these and another cheaper bulk pack that I've got from a local store (w/ no safety info on them) as far as the chemical smell is the concern. Details and colors are a little better though.I air them in an open area and don't let my boy play with them in the water.

Love these Africa animals. My 1st grader had to do a project on the 7 contients. She choose Africa🌍. She did a fantastic job. Her teachers were very pleased. These toys did its job, because my daughter got 100% grade. Thank you!
