Perfect for travel- it worked like a charm
I’m so glad I got this voltage converter before my trip! I was able to bring my favorite blow dryer while traveling internationally, and it worked perfectly with no issues. The converter handled the voltage like a pro. I also loved that it had multiple spots to plug in my other electronics- super convenient for charging my phone, tablet, watch and more all at once. The build quality feels solid and reliable, and it didn’t overheat or make any weird noises. If you’re traveling and need to bring higher-powered devices, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

GREAT PRODUCT
This is the best converter I nave ever owned. It has plenty of current capacity and services multiple units at the same time. It is light, compact and will travel well. I am taking it with me to the middle east in a few days. And it was inexpensive.

Converter Works. But Power Switch only Controls 200w Outlets.
I purchased this device for an upcoming trip to Iceland. However, I did test it out shortly after receiving it as best as I could while here at home in the US. This converter comes with a cord which fits nicely into the device. The outlet side of the cord is for a USA style plug fitting into a wall socket. I tested out the operation of the device by plugging the device into a USA wall outlet. This means I was powering the device with 120 v. Using a voltmeter I measured the 200w outlets and the 2000w outlet. Though this is an open circuit test as I didn’t load the device down with anything so a true test would be when overseas trying to power the device with a load and being driven from 240 v.But, testing the device in the US, this is what I had found: the 200w outlets provided approximately 120 v. It is controlled on/off by the device switch. The 2000w outlet measured half of the wall voltage, so if traveling overseas, it should be 120 v and may be able to power a hair dryer.I used a USB power bank device as a load to test the USB ports. They seem to work fine, at least for the USB A ports. What was a surprise was that the converter on/off switch ONLY controls the 200w outlets. The USB ports and the 2000w outlet are “hot” all of the time regardless of converter pier on or off settings.I called the Ceptics customer service representative and am pleased a person will talk to me. Later we exchanged emails. This is good as I expect customer support service from a company I purchase a product from.I provided a detailed written explanation of my testing and observations, the company representative told me he thought the device was defective as the power switch should try the entire converter on/off.Then return process was quite easy as I raised an Amazon ticket and dropped off the package at a Kohls store. I reorder the converter. When the second converter arrived I repeated my testing and found to my surprise that it functions exactly the same as before. Communicating with Ceptics again, I questioned the rep and after he checked with their technical people concluded that my observations are correct, he was wrong. Bottom line: converter power on/off switch only controls the 290w outlets. There is. I control over the USB ports or 2000w outlets. I recommended the website descriptions and package documentation reflect this proper functionality of the LED light and switch function.

Will NOT provide the proper voltage
Does not give the deliver the proper voltage to the hair dryer outlet. I am an electrician and was concerned about this. In the states the voltage was low and that was to be expected and noted in the literature. During my recent trip to the UK I took my voltage testers because I was concerned about damaging my CPAP machine. I was only getting 66.7 volts on the hair dryer outlet which made it unusable. It also explains why others had their items damaged. Hard to work at half the voltage. The positive was that the USB ports worked fine and the 2 non hair dryer outlets did as well so were able to work around the situation. Of course the return window has passed so I am stuck with it.

Converter and Adapter all in one!
This adapter/converter was great when traveling abroad. The special outlets for hair curlers/straighteners was a real addition. The adapters for different countries are included. The USB and USB C ports were very helpful as two of us could charge our phones and other USB items at the same time. It comes with a storage bag.

Works great for USA blow driers!
Works great for USA blow driers! I used in Ireland. I did NOT want to be the”rude American” who blew the fuse, started a fire, or destroyed the outlet at the hotels. I was able to have my blow dryer plugged in AND my curling iron heating up while drying my hair. AND, I was charging my iPhone at the same time! This CONVERTER worked perfectly! ADAPTERS and CONVERTERS are NOT the same thing. It’s exactly what I bought it for
