Value was good. Cheaper than buying a questionable used one.

Very well built, I'm pretty sure it came from the same factory as my original charger. I did have to disassemble it and move the negative charging lead to the 9 o'clock position from the 6 o'clock position so it would match my old charger and work with my 14.4 batteries. FYI and you are looking down at the charging port with the power cord pointed at you 12 o'clock it straight up. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I got a drill that used old style batteries and charger. Works fine

its garbage. I maybe used it once, put it in the cupboard. Next time I wanted to charge a battery, NOTHING.It is Garbage. And since I haven't needed to use it for a few months, of course it is past the return period.A waste of my money and landfill space.

Charges the batteries as expected. The charger that’s actually MADE by Makita actually makes the battery hot while charging; this one doesn’t do that. I’m going to guess it has some sort of built-in overcharge protection. Either way it seems to be working well!

Unpacked, plugged in and it charged 2 dead batteries that were very questionable.
