At 67 years old, living alone for the past eleven years, am to the point of not feeling safe on average step ladders. In fact, fell off a ladder while trimming a tree. Luckily just missed landing on top of riding lawn mower. Even though I was a little hurt, could have caused some serious damage. Decided to purchase a new one and came across this gem. Am extremely confident every time I use it. Light weight, wide steps, foldable for easy storage, along with top handrail making me feel so safe leaning into it with body pressed against it while reaching up. They also come in different sizes, yet the 3 step is perfect for reaching my ceiling height of 7 & 8 feet high. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a safe, light weight heavy duty ladder. It really is a perfect addition to my household maintenance equipment.

The brand is reliable so I ordered this ladder. We have smaller two-step ladders but with our new kitchen cabinets we have an extra shelf on top and need longer legs to reach the upper shelves. This is on the edge of being too heavy but not yet. It opens and folds easily. Sturdy and strong, yes. The hand rail is great for safety and keeping yourself from falling. We have several ladders but they are eight too short or too tall. This is just right for the kitchen and paint touch up on the walls.

As numerous reviews have already stated, this little giant jumbo step ladder/ step stool is the perfect go to product around the house or apartment.I wanted to address a reoccurring comment regarding the lack of a carry handle and the fact that when transporting the ladder from place to place it has a tendency to want open up.I have found that a great solution to address this concern is a product available on amazon called Easy-Carry Wrap-it Storage Straps 22" w/grommet.This strap solves several issues at once, it has a carry handle, the velcro strap itself keeps the ladder closed, its easy to put on and take off in just mere seconds and finally the version with the grommet (they have a version without the grommet) it adds another way of storing the ladder with the use of a hook that can go through the grommet. This thing is super handy. I’m a big guy and have had steps tools fail on me. This ladder is solid. The flip up handle is really convenient. I highly recommend this as a better option of a step stool.

Exactly as described. Much safer than a standard stepping ladder. Wider steps and it's just nice to have a hand rail. Well made, too. Easy to store and use.

I bought this ladder after buying the Jumbo 2-step ladder because I couldn't reach a high cupboard in my kitchen to clean the top of it with the 2-step ladder. FYI my ceiling is about 8 feet high, and the tops of the cupboards I need to clean are a little over 7 feet from the floor of the kitchen.The ladder is FANTASTIC, but the box it arrived in was ripped open in one corner (but box is VERY sturdy and tight so ladder was undamaged) and I had to spend over 1 hour wiping down the ladder because it had black grease/dirt all over it.I know it is a ladder for working/cleaning, but I live in a SMALL NYC apt. and therefore have no basement or garage to store it in. My apt. is clean with difficult to maintain wood floors, so I had to clean the ladder before using it. It would be good if the manufacturer cleaned it before shipping it.That said, this is a fantastic ladder that is not too heavy to carry around (I am 5'5" tall and weigh about 115 lbs) and is very stable with wide steps and a great handle with a tool/phone holder that can be folded up or down, depending on your needs.
