Q: Kirby is a 115 lb corso/pit mix. He is a nester. Will the cover hold up to his scratching?

I have 2 100lb German Shepards, this is by far the only beds that have held up to them. It has 2 independent covers, the inner cover is a thick plastic like material and the outer is soft but tightly woven. (The foam also holds their weight without compressing flat!). I cover their beds with a full size elastic bed sheet so that when they dig it bunches up the sheet without it letting go of the bed, which satisfies her need to nest and stops her from digging at it none stop. Without the sheet she just digs and digs ...and digs

Q: How durable is it? My dog destroys everything.

It seems to be pretty durable my dog is a 100 mastiff and I is holding up well. I really like that you can unzip the cover and wash it. Cleans up real well
