2X Large Garden Gate/Garage Door Drop Bolts - Floor/Ground/Stable Lock Catch

Good seller, prompt delivery. The drop bolts themselves are sturdy, well made up for the job bolting down driveway gates.

I used two of these on the two doors on a metal prefab garage. They were reasonably simple to fit to angle iron frames (I needed to make up some some spacers to align the bolts correctly) as they bolted and riveted into place without any issues. They are hefty, strong units and do the job of holding the doors open and shut very well. I would purchase again as need arises.

Heavy and solid but don't come with screws.

I like these. I bought them to replace the weak little ones on my gate. After other reinforcements these were the finishing touch. They have a lovely heft to them and when unlocking they give a medieval castle gate vibe. I drilled mine into the wall and the floor so fitted two to the gate. You'll need a beast of a drill and bit to do the same but it's worth it as gate is extremely secure now.

These bolts are heavy duty and feel good quality. I added mine to the garage door so I can bolt I open so the wind doesn’t slam it. It doesn’t come with fixings but has 3 sections which need 4 screws, and the bottom plate requires 4 screws. It was easy enough to fit but the top part must be added last otherwise you can slide the bolt in.
