Sturdy and as pictured. Sole plate reaches to the front of the ball of the foot (short of the toes). I got the large size, my shoe size is 10 and they fit well but I think I should go to a size 10.5 shoe to provide more room for the toes and width of my foot. I put the brace under the insole and there is really not room for that. It bunches up.The straps around calf are a bit too long which makes them curl. Then taking them off puts strain on the rivets.

Very functional and allowed me to walk better than the one from the hospital. Would like a little more ankle support, but otherwise good AFO for foot drop.

It's easiest to put it in your shoe and then your foot. But it's a great brace! It doesn't take up much room and I can wear a shoe other than a sneaker. But wear a sock so the long stem doesn't rub on your leg. Otherwise, I like this one better than the custom one that the doctor ordered.

Not real comfortable and only works in certain footwear but it does the job

The hard plastic tore into my foot. Couldn’t wear it for five minutes. Had to take it off.

The cuff at the top was small. I couldn't get that part to velcro together so the scratchy part of the velcro rubbed against my leg. The plate that the foot sits on was curved. That made it very uncomfortable. I tried to insert the plate underneath the insole in my shoe but that didn't work since it was curved.

This AFO is slim fitting so it has the ability to fit into any lace up shoe. Great product

My husband can't say enough good things about this AFO, Better padding and fits better than the one that was made for him.
