I loved this pan—beautiful aqua color—until I picked it up. I felt I wouldn’t use it is often as I wanted only because of the weight— (if arthritis isn’t an issue for you, this should not be a problem.)I didn’t use it, so I cannot attest to its utility.

This 2 quart pan is a great size for small side dishes or a single person cooking their meal. The enameled cast iron keeps its heat well and well distributed in the pan (& heats up quickly). The lid is also the same material so when there is a simmer, the contents of the pan stay evenly hot. This pot's handle doesn't heat up like my black cast iron pan does (and I need a sleeve to touch the handle). The lid handle DOES heat though if the fire is still on the pot when the lid is in place.It can be put in the oven which is a plus when I think about subbing this out for my cast iron at times.I hand wash this. Don't put it in the dishwasher! It will weaken the integrity of the pan and shorten its life. It also won't work as it is supposed to.It's heavy even for a small pan (that's cast iron!). Just so you are prepared! It's high quality and worth its weight (pun intended!) It's a great price for all it offers!

The Leonyo Cast Iron Saucepan offers a solid, budget-friendly alternative to the famous name-brand option, priced at about a third of the cost. It features a cast iron core with a durable three-layer enamel coating, heating evenly and retaining heat. I love the Lake Green color, which goes well with my Caribbean pieces.The 1 quart size is ideal for sauce, gravy, leftovers, etc. I am very curious as to how it does the oven, but I don’t want to risk the integrity of the pan by testing it, especially since the manufacturer says nothing about it. If you’ve never cooked with enameled cast iron, this is a low investment piece to try out. Just remember, to keep the inside from scratching, never use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners. No part of it is cool to the touch so you'll want to keep an oven mitt on hand while cooking.
