Survived the Drop Test
It was delivered by being dropped over a 4 foot fence and it still works perfectly. : )

Reliable Solid Build works the way it should.
I have owned 2 Jackery units for five years now.I own a Jackery 250, Jackery 1000. Both have been very reliable, I’ve had no issues with either unit in over 5 years! I recently purchased Solar Generator 5000.It’s very well built, it is very capable of providing power at each plug whether individual outlets or all at once.Be aware if you activate the Bluetooth and then the WiFi it will drain the unit slowly due to having the WiFi on even if you don’t use the unit. The instructions for the main battery unit is clear and informative. The software is VERY BASIC, it does allow access to all functions of the unit. It show’s inputs and outputs of everything. I have found it to be slow at updating the information…I have read some review that they have to log off the app then log back in for updated input/output numbers…for me it was just slow to keep update info, but it does if you wait a few minutes. I will come back in a few months to update the review as I will have put this unit through its paces… As far as customer service I’ve used the email option and have received reply’s promptly…The price and features are competitive with other companies. I can recommend.

Solar Generator - with 400+ VDC of Input!
Solid inverter power using the front facing 20amp plugs, easily powered 4kw+ out of them.STS Transfer switch is pretty deep, not installed yet, but don't like the short cord. Electrical panel is not in an ideal spot to keep the Jackery directly below it. Would like to see a 12ft cord option.High Voltage PV Switch is cheesy. And the cover door is an annoyance as you can't see what your doing behind it. Doesn't make allot of sense as no other connections are covered.App works but understanding the backup and charge options need to be more clear, still don't understand what functions with the different options. Not sure about the ms xfer switch yet and the two option for xfer over but will update once tested.

I've got to hand it to Jackery!!! And we couldn't be happier!
I couldn't believe it when my spouse said this morning, "I've got to hand it to Jackery!!!"He had been skeptical about the Jackery from the start, but since we won the Jackery 5000 Plus and Jackery Smart Switch as part of Jackery’s Powering 50 Homes Project, he was supportive of my interest in having a home battery backup system. To be honest, after the initial excitement of installation about a month ago, we barely gave it another thought. It just sat there, silently doing its thing... until last night.A neighbor texted us, asking if we had heard "that big noise." We hadn’t heard anything and texted back, trying to figure out what was going on. Turns out, a transformer had blown 15 minutes earlier, leaving the neighborhood in total darkness—except for us.With the Jackery 5000 Plus and Automatic Transfer Switch, we hadn’t even noticed the power outage. Our lights, TV, and internet—all on circuits wired into the Smart Switch—continued running seamlessly. While the rest of the street scrambled for flashlights, we carried on as if nothing had happened. Now, I've got to hand it to Jackery too! It’s the kind of system you don’t have to think about—until you realize how much you rely on it. And the best part? I no longer have to justify getting another Jackery 5000 to expand our setup and include some “non-essential” but life-improving circuits… like the dishwasher.Jackery, you’ve made a believer out of us!

Good product to buy
I've owned a Jackery 1000 V2 for almost a year now, and it's served me well. The only limitation was its capacity; to maximize battery life, I could only connect essential appliances (TV, internet router, computer, sound system). My wife, however, wanted to power kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stovetop, air fryer, etc.). The Jackery 5000 Plus perfectly addresses this; it allows me to connect all our home appliances. Daytime solar panel charging is a significant advantage, and the app's real-time power monitoring proved invaluable during a recent power outage. I'm already considering adding two more battery packs to further expand our capacity.

Great product and excellent customer service
I had purchased 2 of these for my coffee trailer. Initially I had issues with them throwing a breaker anytime the voltage got above 120 or the watts passed 1800. Being listed as 240v with 7200 watt possible output I was confused and disappointed. The team called me and helped me diagnose the issue. Honestly it was a misleading post on a forum that lead me to the problem. Someone stated that you could charge the unit and power devices at the same time. This is true. What I did not know, and they failed to mention, is that if you are charging the unit, that takes up 120v worth of "bandwidth" so I only had 120v left. This is why when I turned on all of my devices the breaker threw because I was trying to push upward to 360v all at once. After we figured out what I was doing and I tested everything when the units were not plugged in charging everything works beautifully! Thank you Jackery!!!
