Q: I have a boss riot that only puts out 280w rms, will that even make this sub sound decent? or will i have to upgrade??

People can say what they want to about a lower end wattage amp but I bought a jenson 600 watt peak and it’s rated 280 watts at 4 ohms bridged and it absolutely hits in my car, this sub is great and don’t worry too much about wattage because it will hit if you have high or low wattage!

Just one of these? Depending on what amp you are running and how it is tuned. You can make 1 15 sound like 3 12s if they are in the right car and tuned properly.

Q: Will this fit in a single cab truck sub box?

I wouldn't think so. They need about 5" of clearance & 1.5 cubic feet to really slap. If it measures out, then it might be worth a try though.

Q: Will a 3500 watt amp be okay for one of these

Probably not the best idea if you’re talking 3500 to one channel. The RMS is much lower then the max of 1200 and that’s the number you want to go with. That number is 600 watts something in that range would be better for it.
