Yes, will work. But please check your amp capacity of the split unit before. Always work with some gap for security reasons. At the start the split makes a peak

Q: What is the output on this device? is it 240V? what does 24v mean that is shawn on the back side

It's output 200-250VAC 50-60Hz. We have made a mistake with 24V on the back side. Now we have update the picture. Thank you for asking.

Q: DPDT to control motor?

This is a single dry contact. You would need a Dpdt relay in conjunction with this. Wire the dry contact in series with the dpdt relay coil.

Q: Is there a case that this can be installed in, so that it could be wall mounted?

No. It's not use a case to installed in. There is 4 screws to wall mounted.
