Sally Hansen Ultimate Shield®, Base and Top Coat, Nail Protectant, Nail Strengthener

Good product

I like to make honest comments and in my opinion it is good but to use it as a top, I tried it using it as and then I paint the nail normally with color and the polish comes off, it doesn't last, it peels off almost the same day. As a top it is good, normal. I got it on sale. As a top, I like the Insta Dri from this same brand the most, the shine lasts and dries super fast.

i applied the polish under and on top of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Color, Black Heart nail polish and it looked very good. The first picture is what it looked like without color and the second is the black nail polish with the top coat and this made it very shiny and made it last a long time! I do recommend! It is also a great price!

It does fantastic as a base coat. I haven’t had any color bleed through onto my nails. Which I love because I tend to do deep colors and usually it always leaves my nails stained. As a top coat it’s okay. It’s not the best. My nails tend to last maybe 3 days. I’m not too hard on them and wear gloves whenever I do my dishes. I wish it would last longer. For the price though it’s worth it even if I’m only using it as a base coat.

This is a beautiful clear coat that dries very quickly and has long wear time. I use it to repair my nails when they break (paint the nail, lay a bit of a tea bag onto it, and paint it again with several coats) and also as the final sealant when making paper beads. It gives both my nails and the beads a beautiful, shiny finish that's quite sturdy.

This is not your average base or top coat. I'm using it alone right now to strengthen my nails and it works great. The first coat or 2 seems to absorb into your nails. By the 3rd goat you get a hard glossy shine. No peeling or lifting. Seems to offer very good protection. No doubt it will extend your manicure.

I really loved this product, but after 7-8 months of minimal use, meaning the bottle was sealed, the liquid became insanely thick. So much so that there is a constant string whisking in the air as you pull it out of the bottle. For the price it's not bad, and does a great job when it's still new, but it's not going to last long, so make sure to use it up!
