Cheaply made
Appears to be cheaply made and in use suffered from radio interference (from the car electrics causing a buzz on one channel). I assume this means the device incorporates insufficient electrical shielding. Although I was a little disappointed with the quality of the device it did help me locate my issue, which is so important to get right when you’re spending money and effort replacing a part. In my view it would be better if this device were able to measure vibration within objects, rather than in the air as a normal microphone does but I guess that would increase costs.
