This product is absolutely awesome. I Set up the new ballast with the flow switch onto my reverse osmosis system And now the 11w UV bulb (G11 T5 Ultra Violet-C TUV) comes on when the water flows to my faucet or ice maker. I timed the circuit, and it stays on for 1 minute 40 seconds after the water flow stops to sterilize the water in the stainless steel tube. Ingenious product, far superior to the ballast that leaves the lamp on 24 hours a day and makes the water hot, and the bulb wear out sooner. Thank you iSpring for your help on a replacement part I needed April 2020. Despite the Covid 19 crisis, Don was able to provide great service and advice.

It works well and saves bulb life so much. My transformer malfunctioned after 6 months, I called support and Nick mailed me a new one easy peasy . Thanks, Nick! Thanks ISpring !

Pressure switch kicks on and stays on for a couple mins after the water is shut off. Would have given 5 starts but it was missing the jumper wire needed to connect the other side of the UV bulb. Nick was very helpful in getting the missing jumper wire to me at no cost!

I just cut the unit bulb end of the cord off of the RO system I had and spliced this version in because the bulb connection will not work on this on, with the bulbs that some with the RO Kits. I did not want this thing running through UV Bulbs every year so I added this unit to my RO system so the bulb will only come on when the water is used. It has a timer that keeps it running for a few minutes, just in case you use the water again, right after the water is switched off.

Nice well made component but it is not a universal use part it is touted here as an upgrade for all UV lamps used in R/O systems but it actually a replacement part for ISpring R/O units it is not designed for the 4 pin lamps but actually for the double 2 pin end connector lamps and it does not come with the extension plug needed to connect the base 2 pins of the 2pin ended UV lamps..For me to use it with the UV lamp upgrade to my New R/O system i had to splice on a 4 pin plug from my other transformer..I wanted the R/O system from iSpring that is listed as a 7 stage unit with UV but it is no longer available here at Amaazon or directly from iSpring..So please beware that if you have any U V unit other than a 2 pin double ended lamp it will not work for your system...Update.Tried calling their support line and contact through their Web Site it is and was an exercise in futility. The web site is basically useless and navigation is bad or dead ended.

There is a piece that i was missing to make the UV light work, so i called iSpring and Nick immediately answered (so nice not to have to go through prompts and talk to someone who was annoyed because they work in telephone customer service). Nick was super helpful in telling me what i needed and sent me the piece i needed for no charge!!! I couldn’t believe my ears!The iSpring products work incredibly well! I originally got this years ago for my house and now am using it on my school bus turned tiny home!best water i’ve ever drank!

I did not receive the item that is picture in this ad. I received one that has a 3 minute countdown timer on it. The light will come on and stay on for 3 minutes after the water passing through it has stopped. That's counterproductive in my opinion. Also, what I received is a USED adapter. The adapter has fingerprints and minor scratches on it. The wires were squished into the box with no twisty ties. I paid for a new item! So buyer beware!
