I use this cable to connect my work Dell laptop to a Dell ultrawide 1440p monitor. It works great with no issues. The quality and the feel of the cable is great. Awesome value of the money. I've connected a MacBook Air to the monitor using this cable with no issues so it is easy to use and compatible with Windows and Mac.

I was experiencing slower than expected transfer speeds using the cable that came with my external drive. It turned out it was a low quality cable and unable to reach the speeds the drive was capable of. I ordered this cable and replaced the original, and speeds improved dramatically. Very nice cable, works well and is fast!

this wire is awesome!! doesn’t affect my sandisk external ssd’s data or speed at all, works like a native cord. definitely recommend for that. i bought it since the wire that came with the ssd was way to short for me, which was a great decision. this is perfect in every way

I recently purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro 16" with a 1TB internal SSD drive. My plan was to replace the 1 TB SSD in the laptop with my 2T B SSD, not realizing that the internal drive is hardwired in and cannot be replaced. I have a lot of video projects on the 2TB drive, so I needed a USB-C data transfer cable that can handle the high speed requirements of broadcast quality video. After researching a number of cables, I ordered this pair of cables.I am getting good speeds from these cables, such that I can edit and play smoothly in 2K or 4K resolution from my external SSD without dropping frames. I'm getting around 500 MB/s read and write speeds. While the cables are rated to 40 GB/s, speed is limited to the laptop and external hard drive's USB serial hardware. Thus, I'm happy with the speeds I'm getting. I tried other cables that I had for my smartphone and found them to be too slow. I could upgrade my external SSD's case to a higher end case with faster performance, but 500 MB/s is plenty fast for my need. At least I know these cables are allowing me to get the maximum performance out of my external SSD. So, now I have a total of 3 TB of SSD storage for my laptop.Overall, the cables are well-made of quality materials, and they are the perfect length to store my 2 TB drive out of sight under the desk laptop platform I use to support my laptop. I'm quite pleased with these cables.
