Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like stationary products and small kitschy cute things.Advent calendar:Great for kids that like Harry Potter. Not themed for adults.

I bought this for my daughter and she has absolutely loved it! I had looked at another HP advent and it was basically all paper pieces. This has nice little HP things every day. They aren't super high quality but they aren't dollar store junk either. They've all worked as they should and she has really loved all of them. My only complaint is that the box is pretty difficult to open each day. Not impossible, it's just not the prettiest towards the end because things have been ripped and removed. I would definitely recommend and I would buy every year if the items get changed up.

My kid loved every trinket she got from this advent calendar. Some were cheap and a little cheesy, but several were really cool, so it was a good balance and worth the money. The only issue was it was impossible to open the doors. The pre-cut lines did not help you get through the cardboard. We had to use scissors or a blade every single day. My kid could not open any of the doors herself. It was a total pain in the a… So, I took away a star just for the shear aggravation this calendar caused each day.

This Advent calender was fun this year for my HP fan. Fun items - no junk candy. Love it!

It was cute and the stuff included was great but mine was opened and the tray was pulled out and put back in upside-down. So me and my daughter had to just go ahead and open the whole thing and that took the fun out of it.

For $30 this was a collection of odd stuff you'd find in the bottom of a kids backpack after the school year ended. Cheap items, packing was impossible, it kept ripping in the wrong spots. Halfway through the whole top part came off so you could see all the items. Covered in a sticky film that stuck to everything and was very hard to break through...not worth it
