Caldwell Claymore Solo Clay Thrower with Foot Pedal, Angle Adjustment, and Auto Resetting Arm for Clay Shooting, Shooting Sports, Hunting

Bought this a while ago but never used it until today and was more than impressed! If you've used an older style thrower that staked into the ground then you know how annoying it was that it ripped itself out of the ground constantly. This unit doesn't move at all! Also have all the control with just your foot makes operation super easy smooth and much safer than the older models. The only thing I dont like is the way they use a removable bolt and plate for the front leg retainer. But it works and frankly isn't that big of a deal. The unit is priced good for what it is and how it functions.

Comes already assembled in the box and very well made. Legs fold out for use, in for transport. Stable on decent ground and very easy to use with a fairly light stamp of your foot. Distance and height are surprisingly far and are easily adjusted. Auto resets for loading after throwing. Beats the heck out of anything handheld and so much easier to store, transport and setup than the electric ones. Very pleased.

After seeing several videos on YouTube concerning this product, I decided to order one as it fit the bill for being an upgrade over a standard hand thrower, but not near as bulky and expensive as an automatic loading / throwing unit. We received the Claymore Solo about a week ago and were impressed by its simple but rugged design as well as it being straightforward to fold up the legs / unfold them for transport.The adjustable settings are (1) spring tension for distance and (2) an elevation pin for high throws or more horizontal throws - simple and effective. We put several hundred clays through it over the weekend and it worked as advertised and we are very pleased with its performance. Also, as advertised, a solo shooter can easily work this thrower and practice with it as it is not overly heavy or bulky to transport.One or two reviews have commented that "the cable broke". The cable seems to be a quality item; tensioning up the distance screw all the way will certainly put more stress on the cable; however - we found that only tensioning it up such that a few threads of the screw (maybe 1/2") protrude through the nut (which is not much more than how it shipped) gives ample range / performance and does not require excessive foot pressure to send the clay downrange.Nice job Caldwell!

This is a great product, works well and is simple to set up . It is made well should last a long time.

Best skeet thrower for the price. Throws different angles and distances. As easy as stepping on a pedal. Can operate and pop skeet by yourself. Fun for the whole family.

Received it today & ran about 50 clays thru it. Awesome & very easy setup!
