My remote PN: G9N9N buttons stopped working consistently. I bought this as a replacement, and it seems to work ok. It seems to be an upgrade to the original with a slightly different design. Hopefully it will last longer than the original did.

First remote that came with the chromecast stopped working within 6 mos of purchase. Then I purchased this one to replace the original and it stopped working 10 months after I purchased it. Did the troubleshooting both times but nothing worked.

Bought two . Makes replacement of the one that dropped into my soup and became u reliable even after every hack to try to salvage it. These replacements were so affordable and work awesome!

It doesn’t automatically connect. There’s not button for that. You have to go into your tv settings and pair the remote by using another remote or app on your phone. Other than that it seems to be working fine.

The media could not be loaded. I was worried that this remote would feel too different than the original one, and was happily surprised to see that it looks and feels the same as the original one. Pairing was extremely simple and worked first try.

Works great. Set up was seamless. Only negative is Battery not included. Far as functionality definitely purchase as a Chromecast remote .

Pro tip: If you've lost your original remote, you can use a phone app to access the remote settings. However, there are some drawbacks. Occasionally, it may lose its pairing or Bluetooth connection, requiring re-pairing. At times, the back, enter, or home buttons might stop working temporarily. Despite these issues, it functions well most of the time and serves as an acceptable replacement, especially given its significantly lower price compared to the original.
