The Journey Home: A delightful illustrated story with an environmental message for kids ages 1-5 Paperback – Picture Book, 15 Oct. 2012

This is predominantly a story for children but should be read by everyone. It leaves you, at the end, with more questions than answers but the main message is clear - save our wildlife (in this case polar bears, orangutans, pandas and elephants) or they will become extinct like the dodo.

Great book, used it for a lesson with Y4 to discuss humans impact on the environment. Really leaves room for discussion and is fantastic as a starter to develop empathy. Good buy!

Great story for children to enjoy. Can be used in connection with PSHE, climate change or just for fun.,

I brought this book for my primary school. I did not use it myself as it was brought for the older children.

Very relevant story told in a beautiful way.
