Acceptable, but disappointing.
Not a good laptop. Received with no stylus, and with the fingerprint sensor unpopulated (ie: it doesn't have one). The built in camera is very poor "potato" quality. Which also means that the Windows "Hello" sign-in feature (needed because this laptop is advertised as having a fingerprint DOESN'T) is nearly useless. By the time you've got it to "see" you, you could have typed a complex password 20 times. The keylights reset to off constantly. There is no way to make them stay on, and when you turn them on manually, they turn OFF automatically within about 10 minutes. Lenovo claim this is desired functionality "To save the battery". Because, OFC, keylights (compared to, say, the screen) are such a huge consumer of power.Performance is OK for the price point and age, and the unit was generally in good shape, with few marks - this was in line with the description and I think this was fair. For the money, this is just about OK, but after a few weeks' use, there are enough snags that I now wish I'd chosen something else. The touch screen is decent and I do get some use out of it with various packages. Not bad in terms of noise. The fans don't get loud, BUT the machine does get HOT. Frankly I wouldn't mind the fans being MORE active over their defaults and haven't found a way to really improve them without diving into specialist fan management software which one shouldn't need to install. This thing gets hot if you run it hard, so if you plan to play games, don't have it on your lap if you value your genitals. It's not trash, but I feel rather undersold with this laptop and wouldn't use this seller again.
