Only one upset about this is my dog.
Fantastic product. So great for baby led weaning. Can’t say enough great things about it. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Durable. Our poor dog won’t get food scraps now so he’s the only one disappointed in the product.

DIY catchy modified for Mockingbird high chair
Yes, is it overpriced for what it is? Sure. But what baby product isn’t? I have the Mockingbird high chair and they don’t make a Catchy for it (yet) so I took a risk after researching the dimensions and bought the one for the Tripp Trapp. We cut the holes a little bigger and placed it from the top (after removing the toddler seat backrest) and it rests on the foot rest and it is EXACTLY as I hoped it would be. We taped the cutouts over the exposed holes and it’s hardly noticeable. So DIY at your own risk! I tried the shower liner on the floor hack and it was annoying to clean up and I almost tripped/slipped on it several times. This solved my problem. I just hope it holds up over time.

Essential, Effective, Convenient
The Overview:If you own a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair and have a child who's just discovered the joy of dropping everything, the CATCHY Food Catcher is about to become your new best friend. I used to go through an arsenal of spoons per meal due to my baby's habit of dropping them, not to mention the food that would end up all over the floor. The Good:Mess Control: This thing catches 99% of what my little one drops. From spoons to food, it's all contained within the CATCHY, saving me from endless bending and cleaning.Ease of Use and Cleaning: After each meal, I simply wipe it down with a soapy cloth, and it's ready for the next round. No more scrubbing the floor or chasing after rogue pieces of food or utensils.Design and Compatibility: It fits perfectly with the Stokke Tripp Trapp, maintaining the chair's aesthetic while adding functionality. The design is both practical and discreet.Health of Your Back: Minimizing those repetitive bending tasks is a godsend for parents. With a baby, you're already doing enough physical labor; this accessory genuinely reduces the strain. The Not-So-Good:Price: Yes, it's on the pricier side, but when you tally up the time and effort saved, plus the sanity preserved, it's a small price to pay for such peace of mind.Overall:The CATCHY Food Catcher has been a lifesaver in my household. It might seem like an unnecessary expense at first glance, but the convenience and cleanliness it brings to mealtime more than justify the cost. My baby can explore his food (and the laws of gravity) without turning our dining area into a disaster zone.Pros:Captures nearly everything that gets droppedEasy to clean and reuseSaves time and reduces physical strainPerfect fit for Stokke Tripp TrappCons:Higher cost, but worth every pennyConclusion:If you're tired of the constant cleanup after every meal with your toddler, the CATCHY Food Catcher is a must-have. It's transformed how we handle mealtime, making it less of a chore and more of a joy. It's one of those parenting products where you wonder how you managed without it.

Expensive but very very useful
Annoyingly expensive for essentially a large piece of plastic that comes pre-cut and with folding instructions, but it’s been a really good investment! My baby drops probably about 75-85% of his food (either accidentally or on purpose) and this catches almost all of that. It’s SO easy to just wipe clean with baby wipes so when the food falls, you can just pick it up and they can try again without wasting food. It’s not so big that you’re constantly bumping into it or reaching far to feed, but it’s wide enough to catch purposefully-dropped-over-the-edge food as well as a lot of the splashed purées and dropped food-covered spoons. It is a bit of a pain to install on the Stokke Tripp trapp just because you have to take the whole chair apart pretty much to get it in the right position so it’s something that isn’t going to be coming on/off easily.Definitely recommend, definitely super useful for containing mess! Just wish it was like $25 tops.

Love this
Amazing for catching food from the highchair, easy to clean. If my toddler throws hard enough, the food will go past it, but it catches most everything else.

Lifesaver for Toy-Tossing Babies!
The media could not be loaded. My little one just started sitting in his Tripp Trapp high chair and LOVES dropping toys like it’s his new favorite game! As a mom who washes and sanitizes every toy that hits the floor (yes, every single time!), I was losing my mind — until I got the Catchy! It fits perfectly on our Tripp Trapp and catches everything before it hits the ground. Total game changer! No more bending over a hundred times a day, and no more constantly rewashing toys.Easy to use, stays in place, and super helpful.Clean toys = Happy mom = Happy baby!Highly recommend to any parent with a curious little one!Solids are coming soon, and I already know this will save us during mealtime too!

Poor Quality
Update - after returning the damaged product to Amazon, the manufacturer reached out and offered to send us a new one. The product we received from the manufacturer was packaged very differently than what we received from Amazon, and based on the packaging and condition, we believe the first item we received was a damaged and returned item from Amazon. The new item was able to be assembled easily and appears to do it what it is intended. It sits very high on the chair, so will have minimal use as our child grows as it cannot be lowered without cutting off our own holes interferes with the anti-choking foot rest. Overall, it remains a good idea, but the $60 price point of the product is triple the $20 cost of the high chair.Horrible! We received our product damaged (torn). A great idea, but it’s just cheap flimsy plastic with holes punched out and seams for bending that are weak points. Don’t recommend! Poor quality especially for the price.
