Excellent delivery time. This was ordered on Good Friday and was delivered the following Tuesday.The step was delivered with other items and came in its own sturdy cardboard box.It is strong and quite heavy, so may not be suitable for a frail person to manoeuvre.When I opened the package, the legs were folded into the base and the handle was also folded., allowing the item to be packed in the box. There is also a piece of paper with diagrams showing how to fold the handle and the legs. Underneath the base, the top of the handle, together with an l shaped screwdriver and two screws are cable tied into place to prevent loss of parts. Personally, I found the included screwdriver fiddly and used my own screwdriver to fix the Phillips screws securing the handle top.Once assembly was finished, I was disappointed to find that the height of the step was rather low and not help much with reaching higher shelves, which is what I bought it for. The item description does say the height of the step is 6.7 inches, which is correct, but now I have it, I feel it could do with being around 9 inches instead. The adjustable handle is very useful as an aid to boarding the step, especially if you are a bit wobbly on your feet, as I am.It is as described and very sturdy, so I must review it based on the description and not on my wishes. Therefore, I rate it five stars and recommend it if you are looking for a strong step with a useful handle that will get you an extra seven inches off the ground.

Ideal as a step up platform and good support handle. Only point I would make is that the handle is secured by a self tapping screw which required a good strong wrist and good screwdriver to attach. This may be a problem for an older person and they may need assistance with that one screw. Otherwise easy to assemble.

Would have been 5 star but the holes in the upright for fixing the handle were too small to accept the self tapping screws and had to be drilled out a little. The use of a proper screwdriver made life easier than the silly thing supplied.

Having fallen and broken my arm, and also suffering from spondylosis in my lower back, I became very wary of getting in and out of our bath. This item has helped a lot, although OT say I also need a hand hold on the wall. My only criticism is that it was difficult to get the rod to stay safely in place. It is now fixed thanks to my clever husband. Now I need another to help me get into our 4 poster bed as I haven't slept there for 4 years, since my health declined.

Seems solidly made and safe to stand on. But the handle is far too short to be functional. Anybody of average or above average height would have to stoop to hold it, which means they would not be able to reach any higher than when standing on the ground. Returned for a refund, which was quick and easy.

What a dinky little step, perfect for me. Easy to put together but like others have already mentioned, I struggled to get screws into the handle so the manufacturer needs to address that issue. Apart from that I can now get into my bath once again, which is a blessed relief as I need a new hip and knee so movement is very limited. That said, with a gentle bit of manoeuvring and a bit of support from the handle I can safely get under the shower. Hooray!

Whenever we go off on short trips and use the rooms of a well know Inn their beds are a bit on the high side for a member of our family. This step allows them to easily get on and off the edge of the bed whilst still keeping being able to keep their balance. The step is foldable and sturdy

Good product, light weight very practical with support handle. It gives the feeling of weakness but it is sturdy and safe. Could do something about the price though.
