I'm trying to eat healthier and LOVE yogurt, but not the amount of sugar in the prepackaged cups. I love to try new things, so I figured I'd give making my own yogurt a try. I'm so glad I did because this is some of the yummiest yogurt, it's super hard not to eat it all quickly. I'm surprised at how easy it is to use. And I like that it doesn't get hot to the touch, like other brands. I've used it 4-5 times and the temperature stays within 2 degrees of the control set at 113°F. When making your yogurt, the process is extremely important. I use a recipe that my mom gave me. You heat the milk slowly to 185°F, which takes 20-25 minutes, then let it cool to 105°F. I add my yogurt starter to 1 cup of the warm milk and then add it back into the rest of the warm milk. Put the milk mixture into the 5 ounce cups and process it for around 8 hours. It comes out smooth and creamy every single time. It seems like it's hard to do, but you'll get the hang of it easily. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat the store bought stuff after spoiling myself with this homemade deliciousness. I'm glad I got the machine that came with 17 individual cups, so I can modify the flavors for every member of the house. The cups also have their own lids, which makes them easy to store in the refrigerator. Depending on how much yogurt you eat, this will pay for itself in only a couple of months. I'm so glad I took the plunge and tried it.

I love the ability to make it more tart, then I can add a bit of fruit or something when I eat it later.My partner likes some maple syrup in theirs and this allows me to make different flavors simultaneously. I used some commercial greek yogurt as my starter and the machine kept a constant temp to created 9 cups.The plastic is BPA free, it’s safe and easy to clean - the light indicator helps guide me in the process. I can create a very economic batch of 45 ounces of homemade yogurt to enjoy at breakfast, as a garnish or create dips. This machine will pay for itself in no time.

Temperature dropped to 92 degrees after using 2 times a month for 7 months. I had changed probiotics and thought that was the issue. Fail. Waiting to see how customer service handles. So disappointing.

I bought this yogurt maker for making my own non-diary yogurt at home. I find it so expensive to buy anymore, that I now prefer to make my own. I love the amount of control I have with making my own too. All it takes is a non-dairy “milk” and a probiotic capsule of my choice. I like that the benefits are customized to me then. With this yogurt maker, all I have to do is warm the milk, let it cool a bit, add the probiotic and pour into the cups. After that I turn on the machine and wait. Before I would do this either in a pressure cooker on the yogurt setting or in a dish in the oven. The latter environment is hard to control well. This machine makes it so easy. I love having individual cups just like the convenient store bought cups. They are convenient to store and to clean for reuse. This is a big convenience if you like making homemade yogurt. If you’ve never tried before, it’s very simple and so satisfying.

I've used this non-stop since it arrived. It offers two fermentation options, cold or hot. I've not tried the cold milk method as I really trust the recipe.Delivery was prompt.

This yogurt maker is okay—it’s easy to use, well-designed, and works as intended for the most part. It’s great for making basic homemade yogurt, and I appreciate the convenience it offers compared to more traditional methods. The results are generally smooth and consistent, and cleanup is simple.However, I do wish it heated up just a bit more. I was trying to make Vietnamese yogurt, which tends to be more tangy and requires a slightly higher fermentation temperature to achieve that distinct sour flavor. Unfortunately, this machine doesn’t seem to get quite warm enough for that level of fermentation. It still makes yogurt, but it doesn’t develop the full sourness I was aiming for. If it had adjustable temperature settings or just a slightly higher heat range, it would be perfect for a wider variety of yogurt styles.
