I love this thing! It cuts perfect! It's small & perfect for the job! Love it!

I got a cheap strap cutter from a chain craft store and it was junk. It didn't have anything to hold the blade steady and caused curvy cuts.This one on the other hand, it's fantastic! It holds the leather in place, holds the blade in place, and cuts like a knife through butter! I was able to cut 4ft lengths of leather that's nearly 9oz thick like it was NOTHING! If i'm ever in need of another strap cutter, I'm definitely getting another one of these!

I had my doubts about this tiny tool when it arrived. I almost sent it back because I was missing one of the tiny blades.But I finally tried it and cut two 36" straps from two different pieces of leather in about 8 seconds each. They were perfect and it's about the easiest thing I've ever attempted. It was 6 ounce leather and I was afraid it would be too thick. Went right through it without hesitation.I'm not a leather worker. I'm trying to repair an antique by replacing the leather.I couldn't be happier!

Smaller than the regular wooden strap cutter and just as sharp. It’s easier for me to pull through leather than the big wooden one.

You cannot adjust the height and therefore we cannot use it for leather which is about 2 mm

A total waste of money, time and effort.

Very practical design… this will be my mobile strap cutter that I take to shows… but it’s quality enough to use all the time - I love the method for replacing the blades and it’s a solid little unit. I probably have had a dozen or more strap cutters and I like this one.
