My boyfriend and I moved in together and his mattress was so firm that it was slowly killing me. So much pain every day.I got this in an XL Twin in hopes of covering half the queen bed. It's a little wide for that, but I just folded one side along the edge of the bed and put the sheets on and it's fine. It's also probably not too difficult to cut if that's a problem.My pain almost immediately stopped. I slept so hard the first night and it was amazing. I'm a hot sleeper and didn't find this to be any warmer than the mattress itself, though I'm unsure it was cooling at all either.Its so great I'm recommending it to my mom and anyone else who needs softer sleeping.

I previously bought the 1.5 inch version of this same brand and it worked well and was fairly comfortable as a mattress topper. It did eventually tear in the middle after a few years and I could used a little more softness so bought the 2 inch version. This one is more comfortable and I believe the additional thickness will keep it from tearing in the middle.

SleepNumber wanted $140 to replace this padding. This product fit perfectly and is very comfortable.

My sister just stayed with us, and loved it. She asked where she could buy one for her bed. I've had one on my bed for some time and wouldn't want to be without it. I was having pain in my hip before I put it on my bed, and became pain free in just a few weeks of use.

As soon as you open this up and touch it, you know it's not going to last. You can feel the material coming apart in your hands. This pad did not immediately disintegrate in my hands, but you can tell you need to be VERY gentle with this pad. It certainly is not going to last long with an active sleeper like me laying on it. That said, it does not slip around on the mattress. But I also use a full envelope mattress cover. This is something I definitely advise. When this thing disintegrates, you will want it contained. The thickness and sleep quality are okay, but nothing to get excited over. The fit is a bit oversized, but not enough to be a problem. There is no support. This pad is way too soft and flimsy to offer any support. Bottom line... This mattress pad has very poor value for the money. I expect to have to replace this within 3 months and I expect a lot of clean up work to remove the remains of this pad before I can install a better quality item.My final piece of advice, if you need to pinch pennies right now. Get an old fashioned egg crate foam pad. They were selling for about the same price as this pad. And they will last longer and be easier to remove.
