Tastes almost like Thums Up. If you’re buying it to reduce your caffeine fix, go for it. If you have a soda maker, go for it. It may not make economical sense, compared to branded Black PET bottles, but if you’re just trying to reduce caffeine and still love the taste, it serves the purpose.

I loved the flavour

I have a strong preference for diet cola, but finding suitable options in India has been challenging. The limited choices available are often quite expensive. Seeking a more affordable and potentially better alternative, I searched for sugar-free cola syrup and found a product that caught my attention. The product comes in a set of two 500ml bottles, priced at ₹398. Unfortunately, it took a few days for the delivery to arrive, as next-day delivery was not an option.Upon receiving the syrup, I followed the recommended mixing ratio with water. The taste was decent, but it didn't come close to the flavor of branded diet cola. I found the sweetness to be lacking at the suggested ratio, so I ended up using more syrup to achieve the desired sweetness. When I mixed it with branded soda, the flavor slightly improved, but again, I had to add more syrup to get it to taste right. The product also suggests adding a pinch of black salt to the drink, which made me wonder if this was intended to mask the fact that the syrup isn't sweet enough.The syrup doesn't contain aspartame, which is commonly used in diet sodas, and instead uses sucralose as a sweetener. It's claimed that sucralose is a better alternative to aspartame. Additionally, the syrup does not contain caffeine, as indicated by the absence of it in the ingredients list.One positive aspect I noticed is that I didn't experience any bloating or significant flatulence, issues that sometimes occur after drinking branded diet colas. I believe this might be because the syrup lacks aspartame and other chemicals. Also, since it doesn’t contain caffeine, it didn’t affect my sleep, which is often disrupted when I drink diet cola at bedtime.From one 500ml bottle, I was able to make about nine drinks, each consisting of approximately 150ml of water or soda and 60ml of syrup.However, from a cost perspective, this syrup is not economical. You can purchase six 330ml cans of diet cola for ₹180-₹200, or find 700ml bottles for as low as ₹40 at times. When you compare this to sugary cola, which costs less for much larger quantities, the syrup becomes even less attractive, especially considering it ends up being more expensive than branded diet cola when factoring in the cost of soda.For this syrup to be a viable option, the price needs to be reduced to around ₹135-₹150 per 500ml bottle. Additionally, the manufacturer should consider increasing the concentration of sweeteners and flavoring agents so that consumers can make more drinks and get better value for their money. Improving delivery options to include next-day service would also be beneficial.Would I recommend this product? It depends. At its current price, I wouldn't recommend it. However, because it doesn't contain aspartame or caffeine, it could be a better alternative to branded diet cola for those concerned about these ingredients. In that case, it might be worth considering.

I will start by saying that I am addicted to soda since I was a kid. It's a very hard habit to beat. Finally I bought a soda maker and understood that I am adicted to the mouth feel of cold soda. Since then I have been looking for a good cola flavour.I am happy with this one so far. It doesn't exactly match the cola soda flavours in the market but with some tweaks you can get close to one. Over all, I see myself buying more often.Also there is no caffeine so I can enjoy a short burst of cola soda at night too.
