Very nice set for the money. The skiver bends to easily but works.

Our grandson asked for some specific leather making tools. This kit fit that request plus several I know he will use and a convenient pouch to keep them all together.

Very nice starter kit to get you working on leather. Great size set and organized well. Easy to use and great value.

Cheap but good enough for beginners to have everything they need

Item arrived with broken tool already. No option to request replacement of singular items and returning requires over an hour drive due to my location. Since item was broken before even using, I’m not sure about the overall quality of the kit. Packaging was not damaged. I wouldn’t recommend simply because of the frustration involved when there’s an issue.

I got this and was so excited. Turns out the tools were very dull and very difficult to sharpen.NOT AT ALL leather...it's some sort of plastic materialI'm not the best sharpening, but my sharpening guy at my woodwork store said they were the hardest he has ever had to sharpen because of the cheap steel.Not a good value for the money. A few more cents and I could have bought value

I am new to leather work so I am always looking for nice tools that will work well and last. I am not expecting to find a tool or a set of tools that will be the last ones I buy as I know my needs and desires will change as my skills increase.I feel this set is great for a beginner. It has several tools, and they are all kept in a nice faux leather roll. Getting this set a s first set will give you all the tools you need to do basic leather work. As long as you are buying this as a true starter set, I don’t think you will be disappointed. The handles of the tools are decent but not heavy. They are all big enough for larger hands and small enough for petite hands.This set comes with extra skiver blades, sanding boards, needles and even die swabs. I actually like the skiver in this kit more than the expensive one I bought before finding this kit.I would recommend this kit for a true beginner, like me, or as a gift for someone that isn’t sure if they like leather work but doesn’t want to spend a lot on all the different tools when they can have this kit.
