Q: Are these intended for use when my contacts are in?

I don't wear contacts, but the answer seems to be a qualified 'Yes.' This site recommends Oasis with contacts, but notes that it is off-label use: http://www.reviewofcontactlenses.com/content/d/dry_eye/c/32145. And there is always the chance that Oasis might irritate some people's eyes. I find it very soothing. Note that Oasis Plus is for nighttime use and is thicker than standard Oasis; it could cause blurring. You might want to wait a few minutes after using Oasis before inserting your contacts.

Q: how may drops in one vial ?

I have no idea. All I can say is I put two drops in each eye at night and two drops in each eye in the morning and the vial is finished. So maybe 4-5 drops?

I just received another pack. It's exp. date is 01/2022.
