Good price
Works very well no problems easy to install

It's a little loud, but will be better than the mechanical lever!
Mounted onto my atv. You will need an additional bracket to mount it to whatever atv you have. Everything was perfect and easy to mount. I will say the wiring is really vague. I would appreciate the color coding according to the wiring diagram, or clearly label the wires. All in all, I would recommend it so far. Haven't test it under snow conditions yet though, stay tuned.

It broke the first time I tested it !And the replacement broke also.
This winch is a clone of an older Warn so it is basically a good design. There are multiple problems with it. The free-spool lever jammed on the first usage. The cause was galling on the shaft of the lever .The shaft rotates in a hole on the gearbox that has a very rough surface. I had to remove the winch to return it.That involved removing the Anderson connectors I had fitted, flexible conduit and lots of zip ties, removing from the cradle and repackaging. That's a lot of wasted time and parts. Fortunately Amazon was very helpful . BTW it 'screams' in use and the Instructions are inadequate for most diy people.I'm an engineer ,so it was O.K. Badland and Warn don't have that defect either !So I got an identical replacement. I twisted the free-spool lever a few times and the same problem occurred. This one jammed also ! Check the Listing ,it shows "frequently returned item". Now you know why.

A Little Wimpy, But It Worked
It's a little on the wimpy side, but it got the job done. I bought this to pull a 3,300 lb. car onto a U-Haul auto transport. It does have an automatic shut-off when it gets hot. You have to wait about 3 minutes for it to cool down, then it will start again. It took about four attempts, but we finally got the car on the trailer. We used the double line method and there was plenty of cable to reach the length of the trailer. I think the weight rating is probably closer to 2,000. The cable didn't break, so that was good, but it was sure struggling to pull the car on level ground and on to the trailer deck. Value for the money, I guess you get what you pay for.

Winch
Seems to be a good winch, I bought this for the wireless function, but remote only works sometimes. Works great if you want a hard wired winch though.

Get what you pay for!
Hard to get back into gear once you’ve put lever into spool mode… but otherwise works fine!
