I’m so happy I purchased this ! Kids love it ! It’s amazing quality ! I did not expect such excellent quality for this price ! We are super happy with this microscope !

My ten year old attends and outdoor school once a week and I wanted her to be able to explore specimens in person. She has a microscope at home but it's not something I'd want her bringing to class. This works great and the battery life seems to work well. It's small, compact, and does a great job. I wouldn't say it's as powerful as her larger microscope, but I think that's to be expected.

I find it best to cut a little off the buds. Place the buds on a paper towel. Put the scope on top with the lights on max and 700x-1,000x and move around and focus. You’re welcome

Get real!False advertising all the way with the claim that this toy magnifies anything beyond, say, 40x. But probably not even that.Compare what you see in your viewfinder with photos taken via regular, traditionally shaped microscopes that can be found by internet-searching "onion cell 40x magnification"
