As most of the old Honeywell battery stats have now been discontinued and replaced by the frankly hopeless Wi-Fi ones this is a direct swap for the old ones. I've dropped a star because the programming isn't very intuitive and the clock display is very small and feint.

Old 700 series thermostat failed, this made a simple and easy replacement. The wiring is the same, the back plate is simpler, was so easy to swap. Switch off electric, remove old unit, wire in this, use same furring holes to attach unit and switch elec back on. Works a treat and is value for price.

Its annoying when you wait for something like this to arrive and when you go to install it, it doesnt work.I checked the 2 switching pins, and they do not change from open circuit to closed circuit when the temperature is increased above room temeperature.No use really. - It didnt fit precisely over the Honeywell CM707 it replaced, but when the entire thermostat was removed, it did cover the space almost the same.I eventually got a Honeywell CM707 which worked perfectly

Brilliant aftermarket like for like replacement for my Honeywell thermostat.Identical in all dimensions and fixing holes and had all the same features as the original but at a fraction of the cost. Replaced original in in leas than 15 minites. Superb.
