Its car Phone Holder charger and adjustable
This mount looks clean in any car and just works. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, and grips the AC vent without messing it up. The MagSafe magnet is crazy strong—your phone’s not going anywhere. Plus, it charges too, and you can just unplug the cable if you don’t need it. Would’ve been nice to have a switch to turn charging off, but overall, it’s a solid pick!

The best one I’ve ever gotten!
The media could not be loaded. I had one from APPLE! it’s the one that broke on me it’s on the video, this one is clearly way better in every aspect! It holds the phone quick, easy to use, it has 3 modes that you can tap and put whatever you want on em, that’s an extra tho I really love it even without those 3 NFC’s the magnet is strong! I was kinda iffy about getting it since it said that a lot of ppl returned this item but tbh it’s the best I’ve ever had and it’s not too expensive like I said, I had gotten one from apple and this one just takes it on everything it has, looks, how it works, and the 3 NFC’s are pretty cool to show off tbh

Does not work as advertised
I was excited to replace my existing magnet and vent mount with this Magsafe capable charger and a brand new Pitaka carbon fiber case for my iPhone 12 Pro. Installation was easy and I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me which required me to use Waze for navigation the whole time, which as you know uses quite a bit of battery.I put everything in place and noted that the magnet did not seem very strong at all and I had my doubts as to whether it would hold on NJ's rough roads (yeah, our roads are just awful here). As I started my trip down some side streets, I could see the phone starting to twist ever so slightly to one side, then down a bit. Turning our of my neighborhood onto the main drag, the phone moved again, more sideways this time. Then I hit a bump and the phone fell. I put it back in place and continued my drive.I must have adjusted the phone 20-30 times during the trip, and it fell one more time. By the time I got there my low battery indicator went off. So at this point, I plugged in a regular charger and used it instead. What a shame. I was really hoping to like this.I've ordered another case to see if that's the issue. I've also ordered the Belkin mount to see if it has stronger magnets and will update once I test those out.Edit/Update: The problem was with the Pitaka case. Its not magnetic enough. I replaced it with another case and it works just fine. Adjusting my review stars based on this.

Like it just as much as the original
Shame that the original version of the suction mount magnetic car charger wasn't compatible with my iPhone 15 + new Pitaka case, it had been really nice for my iPhone 12 for many years. Finally forked out the money for this new version so I could once again start mounting my phone in my car. It's been several months and we've had all of the temperature extremes already without any negative impact on the suction. Phone doesn't rattle at all, and charge rate even through my truck's wimpy built-in USB port is enough to charge my phone (slowly, maybe 1% gain every 5 minutes) with the display on constantly at max brightness, and doing wireless CarPlay to my stereo with music streaming and directions running via Waze.I reckon I'd see a faster charge rate if I powered this thing using a 12v to USB adapter, or if I weren't doing wireless CarPlay, but it's more than adequate. I just wanted something that would at least sustain my phone's state of charge while using navigation and all of that stuff on roadtrips. After testing, I'm certain I could get to 100% SOC in between rest stop breaks.

Works so far in the winter.
I had a prior suction cup on dash mounted chi charger, for the iPhone XS, so I had a smooth surface to suction this to. It must have a glass smooth surface to suction to. If you are trying to suction this straight to a dashboard without a proper smooth glued on base on the dash , that will never work. It was never designed to suction into textured dash materials be they plastic , vinyl or leather. So far the iPhone 15 Pro Max had worked on it without issue. But it’s winter so cool. I’ve yet to test using it with summer (Washington state ) temps in a sunny windshield while the phone is running a navigation app like Google maps or Apple Maps.I’ll update this review when I get that done to address any issue I fine in the fan performance and heat effect on the mount, as mine sits top of dash on a VW New Beetle.

Nicely designed vent clip, can be used with older Pitaka CD mount
I've had an older Pitaka magnetic charging mount, used with an iPhone X and an iPhone 11 Pro Pitaka case, for years. The one I use the most fits in the slot of the car CD player - I also bought one for vent mount (used when I rent cars), but never liked that it just pushed on and caused the vent to droop. Two things about this new mount pleased me. First was that I could reuse the CD slot part of the old mount. Second was that the vent clip both firmly held onto the vent vane and allowed me to position it so that the bottom of the clip rested on the bottom of the vent, preventing it from drooping closed. As for charging, it worked for MagSafe charging both with the bare phone (iPhone 13 Pro) and when I got my new Pitaka MagEz2 case from Pitaka (a style not yet sold on Amazon.) The grip is fairly ferocious, so I found it worked best if I tilted the phone up to remove. The phone recognizes it as MagSafe, though it charges at 7.5W and not the higher power that the phone is capable of. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included, but I'm using a shorter, coiled cord as the distance to my USB outlet is short.

Does not charge
This mount will hold the charge on your phone. It will not charge it or extend it. So if the phone is at 30% - it will stay at 30%. Save yourself $70.00 and look elsewhere.Update: Customer service promptly reached out to me and replaced my car mount/charger. Thank you. One thing I have notice is the power pack that is charging the mount should be fully charged, once that power pack starts to lose its charge the car mount won’t charge your device properly.
