KCT Barcelona Deluxe 8ft EXTRA LARGE Chicken Coop with Run

This chicken coop is a great sized hutch for my 2 bunnies, it was easy to put together after I had treated the wood even though some of the wood had been damaged, easily fixed with some wood glue and a drill. I added my own hasp and staple fittings as the locks supplied aren't that secure, the lid easily lifts open and I was worried about foxes getting in. The wire on the pen isn't great to be honest, but it's secure enough, but I imagine with some force an animal could get in so I will be reinforcing it over the next few months. I added some staples onto the frame so I could attach my Ellie-bo puppy pens (available on amazon, highly recommend them) to it and it's great. The cover on the coop is actually a garden swing cover that my neighbour fave me, it fits perfectly. Drilled a hole in the hutch part for a bottle of water. Others have said to attach the ramp with hooks so it's easier to remove when you move the coop, I did this too. I'll move the hutch to the grass when the weather is better. My bunnies love it, perfect size for one rabbit, definitely no more than 2 rabbits. I will be buying another for my other rabbit soon.

I ordered this for a rabbit and he is really happy living in it. The coop was easy to assemble and light to move. If you do need to move it at a later stage, I suggest you unscrew the ladder so that it doesn't break. I put an extra bolt on the outside and bedroom doors as more security against a fox. The bedroom is a reasonable size and I did not put in the partition in the egg box bit as it isn't being used for chickens. This gives more room for the rabbit at night. It was a very reasonable price for the size. The build quality isn't fantastic, but it does the job for which it was intended and at a fair price.

Not quite sure why it is called deluxe. It is poor quality flimsy wood, definitely wouldn't protect from a fox or such like. The looks on the door to coop and run are very small and not very secure. Worth no more then 90 and only to be used in a complete secure run.

Good size for 3 chickens but you couldn't leave them shut in the run all day. There isn't the room.Build quality reflects the price, but is good enough. If you want better then spend double.You will need two people to build. The instructions are awful. They look like a 3rd generation photocopy and are also out of date. Some guess work will be needed to get it built.Check you have all the right parts and screws etc. I had unpacked and laid out everything only to discover I had the incorrect screws. They quickly sent out the correct ones but that wasn't much help on the day.

It will do the job and at the reduced price, it's not too bad. It would have been better had it not been partially pre assembled because the quality of the wood, mesh and roofing felt are fairly good, but the sections that had been put together in order to make it flat packed, were so shoddily made that I considered taking it all apart and starting again. As it is, it is now up (with a couple of different hinges supplied by me!) and it will be fine for 3 or 4 hens as long as they have access to a larger pen in the day time. I'm not sure what I'll do in winter as it seems very drafty. I will also be applying copious amounts of preserver as the stain on it now will be insufficient. But, for the price, you can't get cheaper.

I was surprised at how good this was. Delivery was super fast (came the next day), the wood is really sturdy, it looks nice and my 2 bunnies love it. I found putting it together a little difficult although being 17 and having no experience with a screwdriver might have something to do with that. I can't believe what a bargain it is, for something this size you would probably be paying double if not more. I will be ordering another one for my other rabbit if it's still standing in a few months. I definitely recommend it!

Good value, but before you fully assemble it buy some hinges. Attach the roof with hinges so it is easier to clean the run. Also the parts I got weren't quite the ones that were supposed to be in the box, but it went together fine. The run is not covered like it seems to be in the photo. If you want it to be rainproof you will also have to put something on it--lightweight roofing plastic works fine. The run is too small if you want to keep them inside all the time. I have had this for about 8 months and moved it twice and it is still in good shape.

Good size does the job but the woods not very good at all also now we have found sharp bits on the pen which could hurt a animal
