The media could not be loaded. I purchased this as a gift for my son who was interested in learning about growing mushrooms. Fantastic product for beginners or someone who has minimal time to invest in the process. Very good instructions, easy to grow and maintain. Even got three different grow cycles out of this one. Very disappointed that nothing grew and it was too late to return

About the directions very easy to grow had my first match I took half of them and dehydrated them after I cut them up and I will be adding that to my food the other half was like mushroom crack I put a little butter and garlic on them and grill them with your eyes closed you would think you were eating a piece of steak

I have been growing these mushrooms for a couple of years with great success. I tried this company and I was a little concerned when I opened the package. It had what appeared to be mold fur all over the surface. It did not look like mycelium but something else. Maybe it is fine but I would like to hear from the grower. This picture is today after it has been sitting out for the day. Please advise.I hope so because these blocks are the smartest shape I have purchased. Please let me know if I need to return them and get a new one sent. The other block I bought looks healthier without that moldy fur on the surface. The one in the picture also has a yeasty smell and the black spots, are they normal for your block?

My daughter has been wanting to try growing mushrooms at home, so I purchased this growing kit for her for her birthday! Not knowing what to expect, we didn't set our hopes too high, but in a week's time, the entire block was covered in mushrooms! I'm impressed.

Bought this for my wife, x mas gift, it was a hit! She loved it and we have just harvested our first round of mushrooms. Will be having fresh grown mushrooms with pappardelle pasta e olio tonight for dinner. You get a second harvest in about another 10 days. Good buy would purchase again.
