Really does the job

My Mom was rolling out of bed. We wanted a full-length rail but were told that was considered a restraint and illegal to use in an assisted living facility. That's sadly a fact but a hospital bed is ok....This was the longest bedrail we could get that the facility would accept. My mom doesn't try to get out of bed and couldn't do it on her own so its not a restraint but she does roll out and has fallen out of bed an incredible number of times. We had no luck appealing the facility's application of the law so this was the best solution....bottom line mom hasn't fallen out of bed since...

I bought it for my 90 year old mom. She loves it!

I had fallen out of bed and hit my face on my table giving me a hairline fracture on my nose. I ordered this as this is at least the 5th time I've fallen out of bed. The other times I did not get hurt. 3 of my grandkids put it together, the mattress is very heavy so 2 lifted it while the 3rd hooked the strap around the frame. My granddaughter tried it out and she couldn't make it so she would fall out. The only con is that it will fold down but you have to take the 2 clips out to fold it. When you put it back up you will need to put the clips back in to secure it. Hopefully this solves my problem.
